Lounge - Calming Grey

The remit for this project was to create a cool and contemporary adult only space for a household with a large number of children.

Our solution centred around the fabric of the main sofa and built on tones of calming grey and black. This was then coupled with silver and mirrored finishes to lift the light in the room.

The main sofa was especially commissioned to fit the space, seating and comfort requirements of our clients.

The large windows were dressed with impressive silk curtains and grey voiles which provide an extra element of privacy, as well as protection from the sun on summer afternoons.

Large, comfortable furniture provides a suitable base for evening entertaining and adult relaxation. Whilst bespoke side tables have been designed to provide space for lighting and family photos plus the odd G&T.

The centre piece coffee table in antiqued silver, with an eglomise top, helps emphasise the main sofa and art work: as well as providing useful storage for magazines.

Recess ceiling lighting on three dimmer circuits and art deco inspired statement lamps on a remote control lamp circuit provide flexible evening lighting options.

A comfortable, velvet carpet ensures a feeling of luxury underfoot.
