Sitting Room - Retro Chic

We created this retro-modern day room in an unused double garage which afforded wonderful high ceilings and full length windows to ensure a large space filled with natural light.

The room incorporates underfloor heating which is an efficient and relatively economical way to heat a large space and avoids the need for unsightly radiators.

This eclectic melange of ancient (well a bit old anyway) and new is a terrific example showing that a new interior design does not have to mean abandoning treasured family possessions although you may have to do a bit of restoration or breathe new life into a mid-Century Classic (such as this Danish Day Bed).

Both of our clients work from home and were delighted with this modern and motivating enviroment that they also use on a regular basis to relax in and entertain friends of an evening.
